“Canon Volunteer 21” activity promotes forest conservation

     

    Executives of Canon Marketing (Thailand) Co.,Ltd and Material Automation (Thailand)Co.,Ltd along with more than 70 employees recently participated in the “Canon Volunteer 21: Forest for Life 2” activity by using slingshots to spread seeds of trees on the mountain, making artificial salt lick to provide mineral nutrients for wildlife, building check dams, and planting more than 350 black rosewood, Burmese padauk, teak and bungor trees at Maenam Phachi Wildlife Sanctuary in Ban Kha district of Ratchaburi.

    The Canon Volunteer activities take place every year since 2006, covering several areas such as educational development, environmental conservation, disaster relief and promotion of Thai culture and Buddhism.
