Canon Marketing (Thailand) Co., Ltd. Donates UHT Cartons to Ampol Food Processing Co., Ltd.
for Recycling into Chipboard and School desk and chair set

Canon Marketing (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has organized the “Greenhouse Gas Knights” initiative, encouraging employees to sort and collect used UHT cartons. These collected cartons were subsequently donated to Ampol Food Processing Co., Ltd. to be recycled into chipboard sheets and further transformed into student desks and chairs. The handover was officially received by a representative from Ampol Food Processing Co., Ltd. on April 21, 2026.

Through the “Greenhouse Gas Knights” project, a total of 12,110 UHT cartons were collected from employees, with a combined weight of over 86.5 kilograms. These cartons will undergo a recycling process to produce chipboard, which will then be used to manufacture desks and chairs for donation to underprivileged schools.

This activity represents one of the company’s ongoing environmental conservation efforts, aiming to raise awareness about material reuse, reduce plastic waste, and contribute to environmental protection while lowering greenhouse gas emissions. Based on the calculated outcomes, the initiative has reduced carbon dioxide emissions by as much as 368.07 kgCO2eq. This aligns with Canon’s global environmental goals of promoting sustainability and creating a better future for the next generation.
