Canon presents digital camera and lenses to Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University
for education and display in the Museum of Imaging Technology
Canon Marketing (Thailand) Co., Ltd. leaded by Mr. Phongthep Prasertvoranun (on the right), Director of Corporate Communication & CSR Division, recently presented cameras and lenses to Department of Imaging & Printing Technology, Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Chawan Koopipat, for display at Canon Exploratorium located at the Museum of Imaging and Printing Technology and for use by students in photography classes.
Canon and Chulalongkorn University have embarked on a long-term relationship for decades, dating back to 1988 or more than 30 years ago when Chulalongkorn University established the Museum of Imaging Technology. Canon Exploratorium was established as part of the Museum with the full support by Canon Inc. Japan as the learning center for photography and printing at the university and for the public.
Through brilliant imaging and innovative technology, Canon relentlessly strives to contribute to education to enable young people to learn the latest technology on their education journey.
Canon Exploratorium is located at the Museum of Imaging and Printing Technology, Department of Imaging and Printing Technology at the Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University. It is open for the general public from Monday to Friday at 09:30AM-04:00PM (No admission fee).
