Canon Hi-Tech (Thailand) wins the Prime Minister’s Industry Award 2022

Mr. Kenichiro Kubo, President of Canon Hi-Tech (Thailand) Ltd. received the Prime minister’s Industry Award 2022 in Environmental Conservation from the Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha in a ceremony held at Santi Maitri Building, Government House
As a manufacturer of Canon printers, Canon Hi-Tech (Thailand) Co., Ltd., has adopted various technologies in production, aiming at delivering high quality and environmentally friendly products to customers both domestically and overseas, with emphasis on efficiency in resource optimization, reduction of energy consumption as well as harmful chemicals that affect the environment, and clean production.
Not only has Canon Hi-Tech (Thailand) Co., Ltd. expanded many of its sustainable environmental initiatives to its stakeholders, but it has also supported several activities which significantly help contribute to local communities, society and the environment. With “Kyosei” as its core philosophy, Canon Group conducts its business while conserving natural resources, protecting the environment and being socially responsible in earnest.
The Industry Awards hosted by Ministry of Industry were inaugurated in 1993 and this year marks the 30th year of this award. Canon Hi-Tech (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has won this award for 3 consecutive years and this success demonstrates its strong determination to efficiently develop Thai industries even while in crisis, as well as its relentless commitment in contributing towards SDGs and Net Zero Emission together with major leading industries in Thailand.
