Canon donates foreign language books to Foreign Prisoners
Canon Marketing (Thailand) Co., Ltd. led by Mr. Taweesak Teerarattana, Manager of QEHS Department delivered books in foreign language which are donated by Canon staff to Ms. Atitaya Thongboon, Director of International Affairs Division, Office of Permanent Secretary Ministry of Justice and the donated foreign language books will be passed on to Foreign Prisoners at International Affairs Division, 8th Floor the Ministry of Justice Building on 27 June 2023.
This activity represents one of the company's environmental conservation efforts aiming to raise awareness about reuse of waste materials and reduction of greenhouse gas emission. In terms of the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions, which is regarded as a major cause of global warming, this activity could reportedly reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 67.95 kgCO2e for sustainable environmental conservation.
