Canon Introduces New imagePROGRAF TC-21, TC-21M a Desktop Large-Format Printers at Architect’25
Designed for A1+ CAD prints, large posters, and postcards, the compact printers feature a tiltable control panel,
4-color waterproof inks, and large self-refillable ink tanks.
Canon has launched the imagePROGRAF TC-21 and imagePROGRAF TC-21M. These 2 new desktop large-format printers that build on the success of the imagePROGRAF TC-20[1] with a compact design and enhanced functionality. Both models feature a newly developed Auto Sheet Feeder (ASF) system, supporting a variety of printing tasks, including publicity materials and architectural and design drawings. A tiltable control panel allows for more flexible installation and improved user experience. The TC-21M adds a flatbed scanner capable of digitizing documents, flyers, handwritten manuscripts, and thick booklets, making it especially suited for creative media like restaurant menus, educational content, and travel posters more efficiently and easily. Canon will showcase both models for the first time in Thailand at Architect’25 (ASA EXPO), held at Challenger Hall 3, IMPACT Arena, Muang Thong Thani, from April 29 to May 4, 2025, where attendees can explore the new features and experience the printers’ performance firsthand.
imagePROGRAF TC-21 : A1+ Compatible Printing for the Modern Office
The TC-21 is engineered for maximum space efficiency. Its tilt-adjustable control panel ensures easy operation, even on low shelves. The printer’s Auto Sheet Feeder enables seamless multi-size printing by supporting media from A1+ roll paper down to A3, A4, postcards, envelopes, and product labels. It can also adapt to printing the same content in different sizes—such as an A1 scale drawing for submission and an A4 drawing for review or large menu posters for display alongside A6 or postcard-sized flyers for table placement.
The TC-21 features a “Minimal Margin Printing”[2] function that allows users to print on roll paper with no top and bottom margins, with minimal margins on the left and right sides. Utilizing the same image processing technology found in Canon’s high-end printers, it produces vivid, full-color poster prints even on plain paper, making the creations more impactful. Users can also use Canon’s free “PosterArtist” software to create posters and flyers that help bring their vision to life.
imagePROGRAF TC-21M : Enhanced Copy Functions for Versatility
Building on the compact, user-friendly design of the TC-21—including its tiltable control panel and front-access paper and ink settings—the larger TC-21M offers added functionality for users seeking greater creative flexibility. It is designed for tight spaces and can be installed on low shelves while maintaining full accessibility. The TC-21M features a built-in flatbed scanner that allows users to easily scale A4 documents up to A2, A1, or 24-inch size[3]. It also includes an Auto Sheet Feeder that accommodates many paper types, such as A3, A4, postcards, envelopes, medicine bags, and various product labels.
The TC-21 and TC-21M are built with sustainability, incorporating approximately 5% recycled steel and 40% recycled resin in their hardware[4]. The packaging also adopts recyclable cardboard in place of traditional polystyrene foam. Both models have earned Gold certification by EPEAT[5], the global environmental rating system developed by the non-profit Global Electronics Council.
