Canon organized “Canon Sustainable Mangrove Forest Conservation Project” for the 6th year
Canon Hi-Tech (Thailand) Ltd and Canon Marketing (Thailand) Co., Ltd. organized "Canon Sustainable Mangrove Conservation” project by planting 1,000 mangroves (equivalent to approximate 2.5 rai of mangrove forest) at Khlong Khon Mangrove Forest Conservation Center, Khlong Khon Sub-district, Muang Samut Songkhram District, Samut Songkhram, aiming to promote the sustainable conservation of the ecosystems and biodiversity. Led by Mr. Kenichiro Kubo, President of Canon Hi-Tech (Thailand) Ltd, 55 volunteers, including Canon staff along with teachers and students from Wat Khlong Khon School, joined the activity.

Canon Group of company in Thailand has been implementing the "Canon Sustainable Mangrove Conservation” project for the 6th consecutive year with the aim to restore and conserve the mangrove forest, which is one of the important marine ecosystems, as mangroves help prevent coastal erosion, provide habitat and nurseries for marine lives, produce oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide which is the major cause of global warming.
