Canon provide basic safety training for students.
The QEHS Department (Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety) of Canon Marketing (Thailand) Co., Ltd recently organized a basic safety awareness activity named "Teaching children to be safe" at Ban Laem Thong School in Dan Makham Tia District, Kanchanaburi Province on Saturday, June 22, 2024. 55 Volunteer staffs from Canon Volunteer program participated in this safety awareness promotion activities namely conducting a training of the safety caution in school to prevent accidents, setting up a health and safety awareness information board, conducting a fire evacuation drills and a demonstration of using fire extinguisher, which has received a lot of attention and cooperation from students.
Since the importance of safety equipment in school is our priority, two emergency flashlights have been installed at the school by Canon, and three fire extinguishers sponsored by Fire-Engine Imperial Co., Ltd - Canon’s business partner, were delivered to school. Canon pursue initiatives aimed at improving Occupational Health and Safety in the future to make our beliefs of "safety can be created” possible.
