An orthodox 6-element, 5-group construction allows high image quality and natural expressiveness throughout the entire focusing range from infinity to the closest focusing distance of 0.45m/1.58ft. A simple cam-type drive is used in the focusing system, providing quick, quiet autofocusing and achieving a light weight of 130g/4.6oz. Neutral colour balance achieves colour reproduction that is nearly identical with the ISO recommended values. And with a price that won´t break the bank, the fun of a single focal length lens with a different attitude from a standard zoom lens is available to everyone.
