Canon Organizes “Canon Volunteer #31” Activity
to support schools in Nakhon Pathom
Canon Marketing (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (Canon) organized the “Canon Volunteer #31” activity to help improve the learning environments of three elementary schools in the remote areas of Nakon Pathom. In mid-September, Mr. Phongthep Prasertvoranun, Director of Corporate Communications, Canon Marketing (Thailand) Co., Ltd., together with 31 Canon volunteers and their family members, visited Baan Don Thong School, Baan Lak Mate School, and Baan Bua Daeng School to give their facilities a fresh new look. The renovation aims to foster positive learning environments for school children. The volunteer activities include repainting playground equipment, giving a makeover to rusty, old school desks and chairs, and building an edible garden to raise awareness about chemicals-free produce. In addition, the team donated textbooks, school supplies, and sports equipment to the schools to promote quality education and nurture development skills among young children.
