Solution
Pre REC is a function that allows you to record a scene approximately three seconds before you press the < START/STOP > button. If you set the Pre REC function to ON, you will not miss any important shooting opportunities, such as memorable moments or smiles of your children.
The [
] icon is displayed on the screen when the Pre REC setting is ON.
CAUTION
Pre REC will be turned off when any of the following operations are performed.
- Leaving the camcorder without any operation for 5 minutes
- Opening the FUNC. menu or setup menus
- Changing the operating mode
- Turning on Video Snapshot
- Setting the camcorder to standby mode
