Checking the Battery Level (EOS REBEL T1i / EOS 500D)
Solution
When the power switch is set to <ON>, the battery level will be indicated in one of four levels.
| Icon | Condition |
 | Battery level is OK. |
 | Battery level is slightly down, but adequate power remains. |
 | Battery will be exhausted soon. |
 | Battery must be recharged. |
