The camera and Androidâ„¢ device do not connect.

Solution

    • Make sure the encryption key displayed by the camera is correctly entered into the Android™ device (when using the camera as an access point).

    • Please make sure that your camera and Android™ device are connected to an access point (When using another access point for connecting).

    • Please start Canon CameraWindow (for Android™).

    • Please make sure that Canon CameraWindow (for Android™) is not running in the background.

    • After forcing Canon CameraWindow to close on the Android™ device’s application settings, try to connect a second time by following the connection procedures.

    • Please uninstall Canon CameraWindow (for Android™) and then install it a second time.
