Canon Continues “Teaching Children to Be Safe” Project for the 2nd Year
Promoting Safety Awareness in Schools
Canon Marketing (Thailand) Co., Ltd., through its QEHS (Quality, Environment, Health & Safety) Department, continues its commitment to promoting safety awareness in schools with the “Teaching Children to Be Safe” project for the second consecutive year. The activity took place on Saturday, 17 May 2025, at Khotchawek Wittaya School in Bang Sai District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. This activity aimed to raise awareness among students about potential hazards within the school environment. Activities included identifying risk points, basic first aid training, as well as fire evacuation drills and demonstrations on the correct use of fire extinguishers. The program focused on youth in remote schools, with a total of 61 students participating in this training session.
On this occasion, Canon, with support from Imperial Fire Extinguisher Co., Ltd., donated two fire extinguishers to Khotchawek Wittaya School to replace damaged units and strengthen the school's emergency preparedness. This initiative reflects Canon’s ongoing commitment to promoting occupational health and safety and enhancing community well-being, under the belief that “Safety Can Be Created.”
