Canon Donates Used Books and Paper to The Mirror Foundation

Canon Marketing (Thailand) Co., Ltd., led by Mr. Taweesak Teerarattana, Quality Environment Health and Safety (QEHS) Manager, represented the Company in delivering 481 kilograms of used books, magazines, journals, and other paper materials donated by employees to The Mirror Foundation on 20 February 2026.
The donated materials will be distributed by the Foundation to individuals and communities in need. In addition, part of the collected paper will be recycled to generate funds in support of the Foundation’s social initiatives under the “Read for Thai” project.
This initiative contributes to a reduction of carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions—one of the primary causes of global warming—by up to 2,728.98kgCO₂e. In addition, it promotes employee awareness of reuse and recycling through the application of the “3R: Reuse, Reduce, Recycle” principle, helping to minimize waste and support sustainable environmental conservation in alignment with the Canon’s “Kyosei” philosophy-living and working together for the common good.
