Equipping 12 Contestants with PowerShot V1 Cameras for Live Streaming and Vlogging
Canon reinforces its role as a live partner for the new generation as the official imaging and video technology sponsor of True Academy Fantasia 2026 (True AF 2026). Canon is supporting the program with digital cameras and production equipment, including vlog cameras for contestants to create content and connect with fans through live streaming, as well as camera systems for the show’s 24-hour live broadcasts. The partnership underscores Canon’s strength in delivering user-friendly, high-performance imaging solutions that meet the demands of today’s content creation landscape, while promoting a wider culture of photography and videography among creators and audiences alike.
As part of the partnership, Canon has equipped all 12 contestants with PowerShot V1 compact digital cameras to document and share their journey throughout the competition. Canon is also supporting the program’s official 24-hour live broadcasts with the Canon EOS C50 cinema cameras and Canon PTZ cameras, delivering an immersive viewing experience for audiences at home. The contestants entered the AF House on Sunday, 7 June.

True Academy Fantasia 2026 (True AF 2026) officially went live on 7 June, allowing viewers to follow the daily lives of all 12 contestants through 24-hour live broadcasts. The program will run through 15 August 2026, spanning more than 70 days of life inside the AF House and competition activities.
