Canon Marketing (Thailand) Co., Ltd., held its 41st Canon Volunteer activity, leading 81 volunteers from Canon Group of company and family members to improve the environment of Kochavek Witthaya School in Wangpattana Subdistrict, Bang Sai District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya - the small, remote school lacks adequate resources for youth education development and faces ongoing challenges with sanitation and annual flooding.

As part of the initiative, Canon applied its photography and printing expertise to enhance learning at Kochavek Witthaya School by providing ID photo services for students and provided printing materials to improve classroom boards. Moreover, all volunteers also joined hands for installing the anti-pigeon nets in the cafeteria, upgrading dishwashing facilities to improve hygiene, painting school’s playgrounds and building, restoring the school’s vegetable plots to support students’ nutrition, conducting safety education training of Basic Occupational Health and Waste Sorting for a recycle process, providing lunch for all students and delivering computers to support digital learning.

Supporting underprivileged schools through the Canon Volunteer activity is part of Canon’s ongoing commitment to advancing education for Thai youth. This effort reflects Canon’s ‘Kyosei’ philosophy, which emphasizes living and working together for the common good to foster a sustainable and thriving society.
