Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) visited Canon Marketing (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
Canon Marketing (Thailand) Co., Ltd. had a great opportunity to welcome Mr. Kimihiro Kuromizu, Chief Advisor to Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Thailand and officials for a meeting to discuss Bangkok Global Warming Mitigation Action Plan. Members from Canon Prachinburi (Thailand) Ltd. also joined the meeting on 22nd September 2022.
Established based on the strong initiative of Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Bangkok Governor, the Project for Institutional Capacity Strengthening for the Implementation of the Bangkok Master Plan on Climate Change 2013-2023 for pursuing efforts to achieve net-zero emissions highlights a collaboration between the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Yokohama City and the importance of promoting and facilitating the private sectors’ climate action. Based on such, JICA has been exploring further potential collaborations with 10 selected leading Thai private organizations including Canon. This visit by JICA is a great honor for Canon Marketing (Thailand) Co., Ltd. as it represents their recognition of our business operations founded on the environmental philosophy to do business while conserving natural resources and environment for a carbon-free and sustainable future.
