The Cinema Line products on display at Canon Broadcast and Production World 2024 – Over the Imagination include:
- Two new cinema cameras include the EOS C400, a compact, mobile digital cinema camera in the CINEMA EOS series with an enhanced interface, and the EOS C80, the latest EOS Cinema RF-mount model. The EOS C80 offers significant functional upgrades within a compact design, including a stacked CMOS full-frame sensor, 6K/30p recording, fast and accurate Dual Pixel CMOS AF II with human and animal tracking, a 16-stop dynamic range, and a 5-step adjustable ND Filter System, compatible with the Canon Remote Camera Control Application.
- The Canon’s latest CN7x17 KAS T/R1 (17-120mm, RF mount) cinema lens from the CINE-SERVO series. As the first lens to feature the e-Xs V digital drive unit, it offers optimized usability when paired with the new EOS C400 cinema camera, maintaining top-tier optical performance and mobility. The CN7x17 KAS T/R1 lens supports Virtual Production and In-Camera Visual Effects (ICVFX) technology, transferring CV Metadata from the camera and lens to software in real time for a smoother workflow.
- VR Solution, including VR video lenses like the standout RF 5.2mm F2.8L DUAL FISHEYE lens, recognizable by its unique eye-like design. Integrated with the EOS VR system, this dual-lens setup simplifies the VR shooting process, allowing VR video capture with just one mirrorless camera—an advanced innovation from Canon.
