This firmware updater will upgrade your printer's firmware to version 2.100. A USB cable & a computer are needed to perform this upgrade.
When the firmware version is already 2.100 or later, updating the firmware is not necessary.
The pre-existing software such as printer driver or application software will not function anymore if the firmware is upgraded from Ver. 1.***.
Download the latest software from the download library and install them.
- Printer Update.exe:
The software for updating the functions of the printer.
- HowTo folder:
Includes the manual for firmupdate procedures. Launch it from Manual.html inside the language’s folder.

- Printing in color hue (in the PRO Mode) that look like the one on the monitor can be performed.
- The margin for Fine Art Papers has been reduced to 30 mm from 35 mm.
- Canvas paper has become supported.
To enable the above update, the latest printer driver must be installed.
- The function for detecting the remaining ink level has been improved.
This will reduce the possibility of running out of ink before the message recommending replacement of ink tank.

- When the ROM is Ver. 2.000 or more, install the printer driver contained in the printer to the computer before using the tools. For more detail, refer to the manual.
- The pre-existing software such as printer driver or application software will not function anymore if the firmware is upgraded from Ver. 1.***.
Download the latest software from the download library and install them.
- A USB cable & a computer are needed to perform this upgrade.
- Execute updating in the environment which you log onto as a member of the Administrators group.
- If the printer firmware does not need to be upgraded when the Printer Update Utility is started, "The printer cannot be found" message is displayed.
Double-click the downloaded exe. file to decompress it. Then, open the newly-created "fuu_-win-pro_1-1_3-ea32" folder. And open the language’s folder inside "HowTo" folder, then execute the update of the firmware based on the manual "Manual.html."
