Digital Photo Professional 3.9.4 Updater for Mac OS X is software that will install Digital Photo Professional 3.9.4 on your computer or update a previously installed version of Digital Photo Professional to Digital Photo Professional 3.9.4. Changes for Digital Photo Professional 3.9.4;
1.Changes the name "Art Filters" to "Creative Filters" (which is used in markets other than Japan) in the Japanese version to make the terms consistent. (This change only applies to the Japanese version and does not apply to other language versions.)
2.Support to address the compatibility problems in which the IPTC information could not be browsed in some applications. (Except for cameras which have a rating function in the camera, this IPTC compatibility problem does not occur for images which never used the XMP rating function in DPP 3.9.4.)

Mac OS X Ver10.4 to Ver10.6
However, disks that are formatted with the Unix File System (UFS) are not supported.
The Russian version is only supported in OS 10.5 and OS 10.6.

3. Target Applications (required for update)
One of the following applications must be installed on your Macintosh.
- Digital Photo Professional
- RAW Image Task
If the applications above are not installed in Mac OS X Ver10.6 environments, have the updater recognize the CD-ROM (EOS Digital Solution Disk Ver1 to Ver23, Digital Camera Solution Disk Ver2/38/39.1/53/54/59/60/71/72/73/74 or Digital Photo Professional Disk Ver1 to Ver1.6) that are bundled with cameras.

1. Make sure that at least one of the following applications is installed.
- Digital Photo Professional
- RAW Image Task
As for a PC running Mac OS X v10.6, if any of the above applications is not installed, prepare one of the following installation CD-ROMs.
- EOS DIGITAL Solution Disk v1 to v23
- DIGITAL CAMERA Solution Disk v2, v38, v39.1, v53, v54, v59, v60, v71,v72,v73, or v74
- Digital Photo Professional Disk v1 to v1.6
2. Download dpp394x.dmg. zip from the download page.
3. Decompress dpp394x.dmg.zip on the PC to create the DPP394X .dmg file.
4. Download DPP394X .dmg, and double-click the UpdateInstaller file in the auto-mounted disk image DPP394X .
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
