EOS MOVIE Utility is software for viewing movies shot on EOS 6D Mark II, EOS 5D Mark IV, EOS-1D X Mark II, EOS 5DS, EOS 5DS R, EOS 7D Mark II, EOS-1D C, EOS-1D X, EOS 5D Mark III, EOS 6D, or EOS 70D cameras and for saving a still image clip from such movies.
You can also use View Assist for viewing movies shot in Canon Log gamma.
In addition, you can merge multiple 4 GB movie files shot on EOS 5D Mark IV, EOS-1D X Mark II, EOS 5DS, EOS 5DS R, EOS 7D Mark II, EOS-1D C into a single file, and save it.
Changes for EOS MOVIE Utility 1.7 for Windows :
- Supports EOS 6D Mark II.
- Supports the EOS 5D Mark IV Canon Log specification.
Required System Configuration:
To use this software, your computer has to meet the following system requirements.
1. Supported OS

- Windows 8 (32-bit/ 64-bit)
- Windows 8.1 (32-bit/ 64-bit)
- Windows 10 (32-bit/ 64-bit)

Computers preinstalled with the OS above (The operation of upgraded computers is not guaranteed.)

- 4 GB or more

- Resolution: 1,024x768 or higher
- Display font size setting: 96 dpi
Recommended System Configuration: To enable playback of a 4K clip in preview mode at 50fps/60fps, besides the required system configuration above, the following additional configuration is recommended.

- Intel®Xeon® X5690 3.47 GHz or greater (x2 pcs.)
- NVIDIA QUADRO 5000/6000
CFast Card / Card Reader:
- CFast Card: CFast 2.0
- CFast Card Reader: USB3.0 connection card reader that supports CFast 2.0
Recommended System Configuration: To enable playback of a 4K clip in preview mode at 24fps/25fps/30fps, besides the required system configuration above, the following additional configuration is recommended.

CFast Card / Card Reader:
- CFast Card: CFast 2.0

- CF Card: UDMA7-compatible card's actual writing/reading speed is faster than 100MB/sec.
- CF Card Reader: UDMA7-compatible card's actual reading speed is faster than 100MB/sec via USB3.0 connection.
Recommended System Configuration: To preview playback Full HD clip, besides the required system configuration above, the following additional configuration is recommended.

- CFast Card Reader: USB3.0 connection card reader that supports CFast 2.0
CF Card / Card Reader:
- CF Card: UDMA7-compatible card's actual writing/reading speed is faster than 30MB/sec.
- CF Card Reader: UDMA7-compatible card's actual reading speed is faster than 30MB/sec via USB3.0 connection.
SD Card / Card Reader:
- SD Card: Actual writing/reading speed is faster than 20MB/sec.
- SD Card Reader: Actual reading speed is faster than 20MB/sec via USB3.0 connection.
Supported Models
EOS 6D Mark II, EOS 5D Mark IV, EOS-1D X Mark II, EOS 5DS, EOS 5DS R, EOS 7D Mark II, EOS-1D C, EOS-1D X, EOS 5D Mark III, EOS 6D, EOS 70D
- For EOS 6D Mark II, only MOV format time-lapse movies are supported.
- MP4 movie and Video Snapshot are not supported.
Please refer to the instructions below on how to download and install the software.
Exit all other applications when installing this software.
1. Download "emuw1.7.0-installer.zip" from the download page.
2. Extract "emuw1.7.0-installer.zip" on the computer to generate "emuw1.7.0-installer.exe".
3. Double-click "emuw1.7.0-installer.exe".
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
