Firmware Version 1.3.0 incorporates the following improvement:

In order to connect the Canon WFT-E7 with the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV / EOS 5DS / EOS 5DS R / EOS 7D Mark II the following items are needed:

If your Wireless File Transmitter's firmware is already version 1.3.0 or later, it is not necessary to update the firmware. When updating your Wireless Transmitter's firmware, please review the instructions thoroughly before you update the firmware.
Preparations for a firmware update:

After the downloaded compressed file (.dmg file) is extracted, a disk image of the firmware is mounted.

The downloaded compressed file is automatically extracted, and a disk image of the firmware is mounted. If the download compressed file cannot be automatically extracted, double-click the file.
The mounted disk image contains the firmware (File Name: WE700130.UPD, File Size: 8,309,932 bytes) and instructions on the firmware update procedures (a PDF file in five languages: Japanese, English, French, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese).
Before starting the firmware update operations, please confirm the contents of the download, and carefully read through the firmware update procedures.
