[ Phenomenon ]
If the scanner driver is installed in Windows 8, and if you upgrade Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 while keeping the driver installed, you may experience the following phenomenon after the upgrade:
- Scanning does not start even when the Scan button on the printer is pressed or when Scan is selected on the operation panel.
[ Solution ]
Uninstall the applicable driver, and re-install it.
