Recording Movies at Specific Shutter Speeds, Aperture Values, and ISO Speeds (PowerShot SX60 HS)

    Set your preferred shutter speed, aperture value, and ISO speed. Settings can be adjusted prior to recording or while you are recording a movie.
    The setting procedures are explained below.

    Adjusting settings prior to recording
    1. Set the mode dial to <Movie> () and press the <Power> button to turn the camera on.



    Press the <FUNC./SET> () button, press the <><> buttons to choose [ Movie Mode]* in the menu, and then Press the <><> buttons to choose [Manual] ()
    * If the settings have not been changed, [ ] will be displayed as the default mode.







    3. Press the < > button to choose shutter speed, aperture value, or ISO speed, and then turn the < > dial to choose a value.

    NOTE
    • With [AUTO] ISO, the exposure level mark moves when the shutter button is pressed halfway, showing the difference from the standard exposure level.
    • With ISO settings other than [ AUTO], an exposure level mark based on your specified shutter speed and aperture value is shown for comparison to the standard exposure level.

    4. Press the <Movie Button> () to start shooting.



    Changing Settings during Recording
    Settings can also be adjusted while you are recording a movie, by following step 3 in the previous section. However, any changes in brightness are recorded in the movie.
    NOTE
    • To make the sound of the <> dial quieter, press the <><> buttons and adjust the setting.
    • You can switch between adjusting the shutter speed, aperture value, ISO speed, and focal position during MF movie recording each time you press the <> button. Press the <><> buttons to configure these settings.
